Bluetooth service interruption via zero-timeout connection request

Denial of service in Microchip RN4870 1.43 and PIC LightBlue Explorer Demo 4.2 DT100112 allows physically proximate attackers to disable Bluetooth. The BLE link-layer implementation accepts a connection request whose supervision-timeout field is zero instead of rejecting or ignoring the invalid value, then becomes unresponsive and turns Bluetooth off. Radio-range access is sufficient without pairing or user interaction, and recovery requires manually restarting Bluetooth or, in some cases, the affected device.
