CVE-2022-46396

Local GPU memory disclosure via out-of-bounds access

Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Arm Mali Kernel Driver Valhall r29p0 through r41p0 and Avalon r41p0 allows local users to read GPU memory. Improper GPU memory processing permits access beyond a buffer boundary, but Arm has not disclosed the responsible function or operation sequence. A non-privileged local context is required, and the documented consequence is limited memory disclosure; further effects are not established.
