CVE-2022-46364Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Server-side request forgery via XOP href dereference

Published Dec 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

SSRF in XOP:Include parsing in Apache CXF before 3.4.10 and 3.5.0 through 3.5.4 allows remote attackers to issue server-side requests. The MTOM request parser processes an attacker-controlled XOP:Include href as a resource location, causing the service to contact the supplied destination. Exposure requires a SOAP or JAX-RS web service with MTOM enabled that accepts at least one parameter, and the resulting request can reach resources available to the service.
