Unauthenticated remote service interruption
Published Dec 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025
Improper resource release in Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through the IPC module. Huawei has not published the affected IPC function, the resource it mishandles, or the triggering request sequence. Network reachability without authentication or user interaction is sufficient, and the documented consequence is limited to loss of availability.
