CVE-2022-46265Network attack vector

User redirection via Host-derived Apache redirect

Published Dec 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025

Host header injection in Siemens Polarion ALM before 2304.0 allows remote attackers to redirect users to malicious websites. The default Apache configuration uses a relative RedirectMatch target for the root path, causing Apache to derive the redirect host from the untrusted Host request header. Exploitation requires user interaction with the resulting redirect, and the reported consequence is navigation to an attacker-selected site.
