CVE-2022-46169Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unfiltered poller_id

Published Dec 5, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

Command injection in The Cacti Group Cacti before 1.2.23 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through remote_agent.php. The poll_for_data function appends an unfiltered poller_id request value to a proc_open command after spoofable proxy headers bypass the poller check. Exploitation requires a poller_item configured with the POLLER_ACTION_SCRIPT_PHP action and grants command execution with the web service's privileges.
