Stored cross-site scripting in Syncthing before 1.23.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a peer's web GUI. The tooltip directive enables HTML rendering for unsanitized filenames and device names placed in Latest Change and Shared With tooltips. Exploitation requires a connected device to supply malicious content and an operator to view or hover over the affected GUI, after which script can alter folder sharing settings or add devices.
