CVE-2022-46155Network attack vector

API-key exposure via envified browser bundles

Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Credential exposure in Airtable Airtable.js before 0.11.6 allows remote attackers to obtain API keys from source-built browser bundles. The Browserify build applies envify to AIRTABLE_API_KEY and AIRTABLE_ENDPOINT_URL without purging their values, embedding environment contents in the transpiled output. Exposure requires a source clone, npm prepare with AIRTABLE_API_KEY set, and subsequent distribution of the modified bundle; npm or yarn installations are unaffected.
