Database compromise via injectable product deletion ID
Published Dec 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
SQL injection in Helmet Store Showroom Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through delete_product. The action in /hss/classes/Master.php interprets SQL syntax embedded in the POST id value, as demonstrated by an error-based UpdateXML payload. A Super Admin session is required; successful queries can read, modify, or delete database contents within the application's database privileges.
