Authenticated database disclosure via injectable brand ID
Published Dec 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
SQL injection in Helmet Store Showroom Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the brand ID parameter. The management endpoint uses the id query value in an SQL context without neutralizing quote and UNION syntax, allowing a crafted request to alter the query. Access requires a valid management session, and the published proof demonstrates disclosure of the active database name.
