Database disclosure via injectable brand identifier
Published Dec 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
SQL injection in Helmet Store Showroom Site 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the bid parameter. The product_per_brand page incorporates bid into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing a UNION payload to return the database name. An administrative session is the published gate, and successful exploitation exposes data available to the application's database account.
