Private data disclosure via expired LiveTrack links
Published Jan 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Information disclosure in Garmin Connect 4.61 allows remote attackers to read private LiveTrack data via an expired session link. The LiveTrack API fails to invalidate an existing session link when its owner terminates tracking, so the link continues returning private personal information. Access requires a previously issued LiveTrack link; Garmin disputes the CVE because the API service is not a customer-controlled product.
