Browser script execution via unescaped search value
Published Dec 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Reflected XSS in Helmet Store Showroom 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through a crafted search value. The search page returns the submitted search value without escaping it before placing it in generated HTML. No authentication is required, but a visitor must open the crafted search request; script execution can read or alter data available to that browser session.
