Stored script execution via unneutralized announcement text
Published Dec 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Shoplazza LifeStyle 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to run script through Announcement text fields. The /admin/api/theme-edit/ Announcement handler stores Text and Mobile Text values without neutralizing executable web content before rendering. A merchant account must submit the payload, and a later viewer must open the affected storefront content, exposing that browser session to script actions.
