Browser-context script execution via unneutralized blog titles
Published Dec 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Shoplazza LifeStyle 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a blog post title. The Add Blog Post handler at /admin/api/admin/articles/ accepts the Title request-body field without neutralizing script content before it is stored and rendered. Merchant access to the administrative article interface and a later viewer action are required, bounding the result to browser-context data access or modification.
