Authentication bypass in all Zhuhai Suny ESL Tag versions allows physically proximate attackers to replace displayed content via 433 MHz RF signals. The ETAG-TECH receiver accepts unauthenticated wake-up and image frames addressed by a tag ID, then renders the transmitted compressed image. An attacker within 433.264 MHz radio range needs the printed or passively sniffed tag ID and suitable RF equipment, and can alter prices or operational labels without changing other device functions.
