Unauthorized uploads and content access via authorization bypass
Published Dec 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Planet eStream before 6.72.10.07 allows remote attackers to upload files and access restricted content. Upload2.ashx processes crafted POST requests without a session, while Ajax.asmx/SaveGrantAccessList lets Member or Bypass users rewrite private-content access lists. No account is required for the upload path; the access-list path requires Member or Bypass access and can expose or deny other users' content.
