Database extraction via unsanitized statistics filter
Published Dec 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
SQL injection in Planet eStream before 6.72.10.07 allows remote authenticated users to read its database and execute arbitrary SQL commands. StatisticsResults.aspx passes the flt search parameter into a backend query without sufficient input validation, accepting injected SQL syntax. Publisher or Admin access to the statistics search is required; a time-delay payload succeeded, and sqlmap extracted the complete backend database.
