Temporary service interruption via crafted VLAN frames
Published Feb 7, 2023 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Denial of service in Zyxel NWA110AX firmware 6.45(ABTG.0)C0 and earlier allows remote attackers on the LAN to interrupt AP service. The VLAN-frame processing path fails to check unusual conditions in crafted frames, resulting in a temporary interruption rather than persistent damage. Exploitation requires knowledge of the AP's MAC address and LAN reachability; the published impact is limited to temporary unavailability.
