Heap-based buffer overflow in Bento4 mp42aac 1.6.0-639 allows remote attackers to crash the tool via a crafted MP4 file. AP4_Stz2Atom allocates a compact sample-size buffer from atom data, then indexes it by the declared sample count without verifying that enough bytes were read. Processing the attacker-supplied file is required; the demonstrated consequence is a process crash, with no code execution shown.
