Subscriber-level admin action invocation via unchecked AJAX handlers
Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026
Missing authorization in BeRocket Advanced AJAX Product Filters 1.6.3.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to invoke admin AJAX actions. The close_notice, subscribe, disable_rate_notice, feature_request_send, get_plugin_error_ajax, and test_key handlers accept subscriber requests without capability checks or CSRF tokens. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to alter plugin state or submit arbitrary email addresses for newsletter subscription.
