Arbitrary file deletion in Trend Micro Apex One 14.0 allows local users to escalate privileges through the Damage Cleanup Engine. Trend Micro identifies the engine but has not disclosed the affected function or the operation that mishandles the deletion target. Exploitation requires prior low-privileged code execution on Windows and can delete protected files and cross a privilege boundary.
