CVE-2022-45794Network attack vector

Sensitive file disclosure via unauthenticated FINS access

Published Jan 10, 2024 · Updated May 22, 2025

Missing authentication in OMRON CJ-series and CS-series CPU modules allows remote attackers to read files through FINS network commands. The CPU unit accepts FINS file-system commands targeting memory-card or EM file memory without authenticating the requester. Network access to FINS port 9600 is sufficient to obtain sensitive files; vendor materials do not establish integrity impact for the flaw.
