Code execution via malicious project file loading

Improper exceptional-condition handling in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure and Modicon products allows attackers to execute code. A malicious project file triggers an undisclosed failure while it is loaded onto a controller; Schneider Electric has not published the responsible parser, routine, or unchecked condition. A user must load the file, after which the flaw can execute arbitrary code, crash the controller, or expose and alter controller data.
