Browser script execution via unescaped parameter name
Published Dec 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in ClicShopping V3 3.402 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary script in a user's browser via a crafted URL. The advanced-search request to index.php copies an attacker-chosen URL parameter name into a double-quoted HTML attribute without neutralizing quotation marks. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link; the injected script then runs in the ClicShopping origin and can read or modify browser-accessible data.
