Hardcoded credentials in Key Systems GFMS Version 3 allow remote attackers to gain administrator access to electronic key boxes. The web login accepts a default administrator username and PIN published in a technical manual, granting the same privileged access across installations. With network access to the GFMS interface, attackers can read key-holder data, open or close boxes, change security settings, and reboot the device.
