Improper input validation in the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Gen 1 BIOS allows local users with elevated privileges to execute arbitrary code. The affected SMI handler fails to validate caller-supplied input before using it, but Lenovo has not published the handler name or affected input fields. Exploitation requires local access and elevated privileges and results in arbitrary code execution on the device.
