Unauthenticated command injection via debug parameters
Published Dec 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Command injection in IP-COM M50 firmware 15.11.0.33(10768) allows remote attackers to execute operating-system commands via crafted requests. The formSetDebugCfg function passes pEnable, pLevel, and pModule parameter values into command-processing logic without adequate neutralization, enabling injected shell syntax. The vulnerable interface is reachable without authentication according to the published network attack vector; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
