Memory corruption via unchecked port-mapping index
Published Dec 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Buffer overflow in IP-COM M50 15.11.0.33(10768) allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted port-mapping request. The formDelPortMapping function copies the sPortMapIndex parameter without checking that it fits the destination buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; the public record does not establish whether exploitation is limited to a crash or permits code execution.
