Service interruption via forged restore request
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Tenda AC6 V1.0 firmware 15.03.05.19 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through the restore endpoint. The fromSysToolRestoreSet handler accepts a state-changing GET request at /goform/SysToolRestoreSet without validating that the authenticated user intentionally initiated it. Exploitation requires a victim with an active router-management session to trigger the crafted request, which causes a denial of service.
