Device reboot via unprotected restore request
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Tenda i22 1.0.0.3(4687) allows remote attackers to reboot the device through a crafted web page. The /goform/SysToolRestoreSet handler accepts a state-changing GET request sent with the browser's management-session cookie but without request-specific verification. A browser holding an active management session must visit attacker-controlled content; the forced request reboots the access point and interrupts service.
