Unauthenticated service interruption via schedStartTime overflow
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC6V1.0 V15.03.05.19 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through network requests. The setSchedWifi function copies the schedStartTime parameter into a fixed-size buffer without checking its length, allowing an oversized value to overrun memory. The endpoint requires no privileges or user interaction; published scoring limits the demonstrated impact to availability, with no confidentiality or integrity effect.
