Administrator SQL injection via bypassable keyword filter
Published Dec 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in RuoYi 4.7.5 allows remote authenticated users with the Administrator role to read database data via createTable. GenController passes a client-supplied CREATE TABLE statement through a space-dependent keyword blacklist, which block comments bypass, and executes the parsed statement. The createTable route requires the Administrator role, and returned database errors expose query results; the published proof of concept reads the database version.
