Router crash via oversized Wi-Fi schedule time
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 V1.0 firmware 15.03.05.19 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted Wi-Fi schedule request. The setSchedWifi handler accepts an oversized schedEndTime value at /goform/openSchedWifi and overruns a buffer in the httpd module. CISA assesses that no prior privileges or user interaction are required; public evidence demonstrates only a denial-of-service crash.
