Service interruption via oversized deviceList parameter
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Buffer overflow in Tenda AC6 V1.0 firmware 15.03.05.19 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted MAC-filter request. The httpd formSetMacFilterCfg handler processes an oversized deviceList value, and a 144-byte pattern reaches control of the program counter. CISA rates reachability as unauthenticated with no user interaction, but the published request includes a password cookie; the denial-of-service mode is not further specified.
