Owner username disclosure via bound-lock connection

Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025

Information disclosure in MEGAFEIS BOFEI DBD+ 1.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to obtain a nearby lock owner's username. The Add workflow enumerates nearby BLE locks and returns the owner's email address or phone number when an already-bound lock is selected. A valid DBD+ account, the installed app, and BLE proximity to the target lock are required; exposure is limited to the owner's login identifier.
