Stored script execution via unescaped customer tag names
Published Dec 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in INEX IXP Manager 6.0 through 6.2 allows remote authenticated users to run script via crafted customer tag names. The customer list template writes each tag's display_as value into filter button and menu HTML without escaping it. Low-privileged access is required to store the tag name, and another user must open the affected customer list for the script to run in that user's browser.
