Authenticated query execution via provisioning-service SQL injection
Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SQL injection in Talend ESB Runtime's provisioning service allows remote authenticated users to execute attacker-controlled database queries. Affected versions are before 7.3.1-R2022-09-RT on the 7.3 branch and before 8.0.1-R2022-10-RT on the 8.0 branch; Talend has not disclosed the query, parameter, or missing neutralization operation. Reachability requires the provisioning service and high-privilege authentication, with resulting database access limited to that service's security context.
