Cleartext transmission in ScreenCheck BadgeMaker 2.6.2.0 allows attackers on the internal network to capture authentication credentials. The authentication component sends credentials across the network without transport protection, exposing them to passive packet capture. An attacker must observe BadgeMaker traffic from the same network path; the disclosed credentials enable authentication as the intercepted account.
