Administrator-browser script execution via reflected audit fields
Published Feb 15, 2023 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Reflected XSS in DiscuzX 3.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through crafted audit-search fields. The admin.php content-audit search reflects dateline, title, tpp, and username POST values into its HTML response without effective neutralization. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to process the crafted request, after which the script can act in that administrative session.
