Script execution via unencoded article attribute errors
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in EyouCMS 1.6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through an article attribute request. The article attribute editor places a non-integer POST value named "value" into an error message without neutralizing embedded script markup. A victim must view the reflected response; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied JavaScript in that user's EyouCMS browser context.
