Database table deletion via forged mood reset
Published Jan 30, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in FL3R FeelBox 8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete mood database tables through an administrator. The mood-reset handler accepts a POST to its settings page with cleardata=DELETE without validating a CSRF token, then deletes lydl_posts and lydl_poststimestamp. An administrator must remain logged in and open attacker-controlled HTML; exploitation deletes mood records but does not expose or alter other data.
