Database disclosure via post category SQL injection
Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
SQL injection in AeroCMS 0.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to read database information through the post editing interface. The admin/includes/edit_post.php handler incorporates post_category_id into an SQL command without neutralizing metacharacters, so crafted input changes the query. High-privilege access to post editing is required; successful injection exposes database contents, with no reported integrity or availability effect.
