CVE-2022-4552Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via forged settings update

Published Jan 30, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Stored XSS in FL3R FeelBox 8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in administrator browsers via a forged settings request. The settings page accepts a POST without a CSRF nonce, stores the fl3rfeelboxtitle value without sanitization, and renders it without escaping. A WordPress administrator must be logged in and induced to open an attacker-controlled page; the injected script then persists in the plugin title and runs when that value is rendered.
