CVE-2022-45506Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command injection via fileNameMit

Published Dec 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Command injection in Tenda W30E v1.0.1.25(633) allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands via the web interface. The /goform/delFileName handler tokenizes the fileNameMit parameter and passes it to doSystemCmd with insufficient checking, allowing shell metacharacters to inject commands. Exploitation requires access to the device’s authenticated web interface; the proof of concept demonstrates command execution and potential root-shell access.
