Plugin data deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
CSRF in Tickera before 3.5.1.0 allows remote attackers to delete plugin data by inducing a logged-in administrator to submit a forged request. The Delete Info settings handler accepts tc_delete_plugin_data POST input without nonce validation and performs the selected deletion. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active WordPress session to visit attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated request deletes selected Tickera data.
