Code execution via out-of-bounds RAS buffer read
Published Dec 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 21, 2025
Out-of-bounds reads in affected Siemens JT2Go and Teamcenter Visualization versions allow attackers to execute code via a crafted RAS file. CCITT_G4Decode.dll parses crafted RAS data past the end of an allocated buffer, exposing adjacent memory to the current process. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit a malicious page; the read can disclose data and support code execution when chained with another flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
