Keystroke disclosure via plaintext client-server traffic
Published Dec 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Cleartext transmission in Telepad 1.0.7 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read keyboard and mouse data. The client-server protocol sends mouse events and keystrokes without encryption, exposing the full event stream in transit. Exploitation requires a position between a connected mobile device and desktop server; disclosed impact is read-only, including credentials typed through the app.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
