Local information disclosure via world-readable log files
Published Nov 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Information disclosure in drachtio-server 0.8.18 allows local users to read sensitive SIP logging data from world-readable files. The logging setup creates /var/log/drachtio with mode 0777 and drachtio.log with mode 0666, granting every local account read access. A low-privileged local account can retrieve logged SIP details, including network addresses, without changing data or interrupting service.
