Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped orderby parameter
Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
SQL injection in Dotstore Conditional Payment Methods for WooCommerce 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The wcpma_view_list action passes the orderby query parameter into a SQL statement without sufficient sanitization, escaping, or preparation. Administrator-level WordPress access is required, and crafted sort expressions can alter the existing query and delay responses or extract sensitive records.
